Eagle Book of Rockets and Space Travel was publish around the time that
John F Kennedy was pledging to put a man on the moon before the end of the decade.
The prediction in this book places that event between 1968 and 1969, so was not
too bad a guess, but they continued to predict that we would be on distant planets
prior to 2000. If only the pace of development had kept up...
